• Dear Woodlynne Community,Mrs. Walters

As Superintendent / Principal of the Woodlynne Public School, it is my pleasure to welcome everyone back for another great year in Woodlynne School. We are all excited to have students back in our classrooms and hallways filling them with energy and enthusiasm for learning.  It is our mission to help every child feel welcomed, connected and a part of the Woodlynne Community. Additionally, we strive to have every learner engaged 100% of the day in order to grow his or her academic abilities. Our teachers have been working hard all summer planning and creating activities that will allow all learners to find success.

This year we will be focusing on developing Growth Mindsets in the form of the power of "YET". In today's world of instant grafication, the word "yet" allows us to realize that some things are worth waiting for and those things take work, time and practice. Just because you haven't accomplished a task "yet", does not mean that you cannot or should not try and certainly that you should not give up. Your "yet" is coming, it is just a matter of time. It's a type of hope that is instilled in us to not give up.

I am honored to serve as both the Superintendent and Principal of Woodlynne Public School. It is a great privilege to be a part of a community where parents, teachers and learners care for each other and strive to build positive relationships that support academic and social growth.
