News and Information for 8th Grade Parents

Greetings to all 8th grade families,

It is hard to believe that June is next week. What a year it has been! The Woodlynne School is pleased to announce that we will be holding an in-person, Moving on High School ceremony. The ceremony will be on June 16, 2021 @ 7:00 PM. The rain date will be June 17, 2021 @7:00 PM.

While we are pleased to hold this ceremony, we are still required to follow COVID-19 protocol. The Ceremony will be outside, students will sit with their family pods and students will NOT wear cap and gowns. Students will walk across the stage and awards will be presented as done in past years.

Families will be limited to upto 4 tickets plus an 8th grader. No exceptions will be made. All guests must have a ticket and families will be seated together in groups. In the absence of gowns, students should dress appropriately. Dresses, dress shirts, pants and ties are greatly encouraged.

In order to plan for this event, please complete the survey below, so we can plan accordingly.
