***Current 8th grade students*** If you are interested in trying out for cheerleading for the 2023-2024 season, we are having an interest meeting on Wednesday, May 17th at 5:30pm in the High School GYM. Your parent or guardian must be present at this meeting as we will discuss important dates and rules regarding the cheerleading team. Collingswood-Oaklyn Soccer Club (COSC) will host travel team tryouts on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 6:00 PM in Knight Park. This tryout is for boys and girls soccer players with birth years 2017 through 2013. Pre-register at https://go.teamsnap.com/forms/370760 All participants must wear cleats, shin guards, and socks as well as bring a ball and water bottle. Current Collingswood and Oaklyn travel players do not need to attend tryouts unless asked by their coaches. Players born before 2013 can email us to be put in contact with our older teams. Questions? 5th Grade Stem Class performed the Egg Drop Challenge to end their session. It was "eggsplosive" to say the least! Great job 5th Grade!

Our 7th Grade Earth Day Town Clean up took place Friday, April 21st. They cleaned up the Memorial area of Woodlynne. Very proud of our 7th grade, Ms. Vannais, Ms. Otero and Ms. Staines for organizing. #earthday

Woodlynne Report Cards were sent home with the students yesterday. They are also available on the parent and student portals as well! Spring pictures were also sent home. Some picture orders booked online are being mailed directly to your home.

Today we had Cross County Connection come in to teach our elementary grades about bike safety.

Several students from the IDEA Center for the Arts Multimedia program in Camden had films selected in this year's African American Women in Cinema (AAWIC) Film Festival. AAWIC is an organization which drives the recognition of women of color in the film industry and provides arts and cultural educational programs. Our own Justice Hayman, is one of those students! An amazing job done by the Collingswood Seniors! They put together an activities fair & presentation to our Woodlynne 8th Grade, on how to be successful in High School. It was so inspiring to see! Clubs, sports, classes & more. Thank you Colls Class of 2023! @collscounseling

8th Grade received a visit from Collingswood High School Counselors this week. They received their course options and so much information! They will meet again next week on their visit to the high school to pick those courses! 11 Weeks, they will be Freshmen! @collscounseling

Once again, another successful Preschool Parent Community Workshop! A great information session, ending with painting birdhouses! Happy Spring! The next workshop will be April 24th! What fun activity will be next?
